Best learning experience

The course curriculum is hard and fast. There is no use bunking or skipping classes. You have to be top notch in any case. Course is two years based that means four semesters. Exams usually held in the month of Nov-Dec odd semester and May-June even semester. First and second semester consists of technical and management related subjects and practical. But in final year one need to research work on his interest area of work.

College has training and placement cell for students. Also students can attend job interviews from university sides. Workshops are also conducted in the Institute once in two months. The faculty makes sure all the students are involved.

The Fees is about 40k per semester excluding hostel and other additional charges. As it is a government institute the fee structure is very feasible and the college charges the amount of around 14000 rupees per semester from the regular students of M.E and the hostel fee is also very feasible for around 5000 rupees per semester and for lodging and mess fees for food is 2500 rupees per month.

Each and every occasion and festivals are celebrated here by hostlers. May it be Diwali, Christmas or EID. There are students from different religions and places studying here a few young and most of them sponsored teachers. The faculties also are involved in these celebrations.

The college has separate hostel for both boys and girls. The hostel facility provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college provides accommodation to the participants of Short-Term Training Programmes. To cater to this service one Executive Hostel and two numbers of Student Hostels are made functional inside the main campus. The Executive Hostel has 24 numbers of AC and 16 numbers of Non AC rooms which can accommodate 80 numbers of participants.

Everyone is helpful if you know the way to talk with them. Everyone is respectable and they know how to teach the juniors. The college has a good networking for the alumni association. The seniors take care of the juniors in terms of providing notes and guiding them.

To take admission in NITTTR, KOLKATA one needs to qualify the PGET exam organized by MAKAUT, West Bengal. After the interview gets over there is a waiting period. Depending upon merit list you will get college. If there are any vacant seats after counseling, institute will organize interview for the vacant seat, which will available in institute website.

As the institute main focus is to train technical teachers, so teachers have a vast knowledge on the technical as well as practical field. They are also very helpful and cooperative to students. One can utilize the lab facility 24X7.They help the students to understand whatever they are learning.
