Studying in CMC

The course curriculum is good and consists of 100 self learning videos , around 60 video lectures and contact programs . We are also given many assignments and projects to work on . Examinations are also conducted time to time .

After we get our degree in PGDFM there are plenty of opportunities available. We can also work with the hospitals that they have a tie up with for internships. They are paid and vary from hospital to hospital. The candidates also get placed in different public and private hospitals .

The fee structure is feasible. For PGDFM which is a course of 2 years the total fees is around 1.8 lakhs. The break up of fees is as follows: Year 1 : 90,000 Year 2: 90,000 It is worth the opportunities we get after completion of degree.

The labs and facilities are plenty in the hospital. We are given wards to see the patients and attend to. No student is discriminated on any grounds and everyone is given a fair chance to learn and get exposure .

Candidates have to have a valid MBBS degree to be eligible and have to be registered with the state medical council. I registered online and submitted all my valid documents and details for registration. There are only 200 seats available. So students are shortlisted based on merit.

The faculty are nice and helpful when we meet them in contact programs. They teach and explain us very well . However a person has multiple options to choose from (for the contact program centre ). I personally chose railway hospital , perumbur.
