Remarks

- we have some good faculties but most of them are not helpful although all of them are at least Mtech from renowned colleges. Labs- every lab is air conditioned, power system and machines labs have enough equipment but control system, microprocessor, and power electronics labs don't have adequate arrangement. Classrooms- Rooms are big enough but not air conditioned. Library - All required books for courses are available there. But you have to renew your library cards every month or you will be charged late fine 1 rupee/ book/ day. ADMISSION PROCESS - After second counseling I went to the campus office. Amount- 38500+4000. Papers required- rank card, 10th 12th mark sheet and certificate, 6 passport photos, counseling papers. ID proof. Time - 10 am to 5 pm. I learned from my teacher that electrical engineering department in this college is really good. shiksha.com and collegedunia.com are two sites where I came to know about this college

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was fond of electrical engineering from childhood I wanted to know about power generation and distribution, electrical machines, automation, electronics. That's why I chose this one. Teacher :student -we have 150 students per year, so 600 total students in EE. there are 30 electrical engineering teachers and 20 others from BES or CSE or ME or CE department also take classes. qualification of teachers- all of them are MTechs from IITs or other renowned Universities. Some of them are PhDs. 10-12 of them are really helpful and you won't wanna miss their classes but rest of them are not good enough. Most of the classes are boring but if you try hard enough every class will help you to learn electrical engineering. exams - 2 Unit tests of 15-20 marks. One is held after three months and one 1 month before the semester exam. And every six months there are semester exams (written and practical)

Placement Experience

eligibility- from 7th semester students are allowed to participate in hiring process. companies - TCS, BYJUS, COGNIZANT, MINDTREE, DXC, ITC, WIPRO, are significant recruiters who hired some students. TCS hired most, 14 students and most of the other companies hired one or two students. only 30% of us are placed, luckily I am one of them. only one student has been placed by core companies. Only one came to our college. Rest of them are software Engineer or sales executive jobs. no of student placed is really poor so I recommend you not to take admission in our college. I am now hired by DXC technologies, waiting for the joining dates and venues. I have plans of higher studies after two years when companies allow us to do higher study, Mtech or MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

total cost -360000, and additional 40000 for uniform, exam fees and token money. On an average 50000 per semester. scholarship - TFW - if you get admitted in TFW quota it will cost only 1250 per sem so 50000 with additional charges for the whole course. WBFS - if you get 100% rebate on tuition fees then you just have to pay 120000 at first year and for rest it is same as TFW. So 150000 approximately. For 50% rebate from 2nd year onwards you have to pay 20000 per semester. Vivekananda scholarship- you can get this from state government if you have 80% marks in your whole academic career. 60000 per year. 240000 in 4 years. 10 students got internships at reliance. 5000/ month. Follow the bulletin outside the office to know about the scholarships. Generally after first semester you can apply for WBFS. TFW quota students don't have to do this. And Vivekananda scholarship is totally provided by state government. If you are sc or St you can apply for scholarships too.

Campus Life

3.5

FEST - avenir is the name of the cultural fest It is held annually, at December. College students participate in fests. Bands or singers or famous entertainers are generally not brought by fest authority. There is also a tech fest but techno group arranges that. Library- you can get any required book for your course. Enough books for all students. But you have to renew your library card monthly or you will be charged late fine of 1 rupee/ book/ day, which is huge. If you have 10 books and you are 10 days late to renew you will be out of 100 rupees. Classrooms are spacious enough for 75 students. But not all of them are air conditioned. You can play TT or carrom or badminton in college common room. You can play football and cricket at college ground. There are annual badminton, football events arranged by college. There are lots of cultural and tech clubs, phoenix, developer students etc. These clubs arrange blood donation camps or tree plantation campaign.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many big companies, like Amazon, Adobe, etc., It comes every year and offers a nice package to eligible students. Every year, nearly 50 companies pay a visit. CSE students got the maximum package and offers here, followed by ECE. The highest package in the 2021 year was 1.60 crore, which was an off-campus placement, but when we talk about on-campus placement, the maximum package was also 42 lakhs. The average salary is ten lakhs. Almost all CSE students got placed this year. The CSE and ECE placements are really excellent here. But there are few placements in core branches.

Placement Experience:

Tech Mahindra, L&T, Google, and many more companies offer internships with stipends during their learning months. Projects are to be completed before final exams because according to the projects final semesters marks are given and externals give marks on their performance and hire each graduate. At 7 the semester college students are eligible for placements here. Some placed after that and at the ultimate, nearly many students positioned at the precise package.

By far, 3rd-year students sit in drives and placements. But from this year 2nd year is to doing good and planning for internship and various pre-placement offers. Last year, the Highest package was given to 3rd (now 4th) year student of 15 Lac per annum from Cisco. Other few students are placed in Capgemini and all. The average package is 4 lac per annum. only half of the students sit in placement as most of them are inclined towards higher studies or Government jobs so even if they receive offers, they reject it. I want to be an IPS officer just after passing my college in 2023. Apart from this, I want to work too in MNC as a cyber security specialist in Software developer.
