Remarks

If you are thinking of engineering in Bihar then this college is best for you if you don't get NIT Patna or IIT Patna. The management here is very helpful if you want to prepare for GATE, CAT, UPSC, or anything else.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This is the best college in Bihar after NIT Patna and IIT Patna. 5 different courses for B.tech is available here 1) civil engineering 2) mechanical engineering 3) Computer science and engineering 4) electronics and communication engineering 5) electrical engineering.

Placement Experience

3

There is a placement cell in this college. Probably this is the only Bihar engineering college in which students get placement. But Placement cell is not that good. Actually, students don't get higher packages here via campus placement in this college. But If you are thinking of gate or UPSC after B.tech then this college is one of the best choices for you.

College Events

5

In this college, there is a tech-fest organized by this college named technoriti. In this technoriti a lot of events based on robotics, Art, Nukkad, sports, literature happen. In robotics Robo war, Line following robots this competition is held. And so in arts and literature too. In sports, we have cricket, volleyball, badminton, chess, football. And small events like fresher party, Orientation program, Celebrating national festivals are common to every college and so in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is actually the most beautiful thing about this college. For a student from the general category, It is 25000 for hostels and about 12000 in other things per year. The fee for every branch is the same. At admission time you have to pay 2500 after that 3200×2 for semester exams 2 times in a year, 2100 for registration, and 25000 for hostels. For first-year students, hostel is not available here. So you have to be p.g. anywhere. As a P.G. you will have to spend about 55000 in a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have done. In Bihar there is program by CM to give educational loans to the students who have passed their intermediate from Bihar up to 4 lacs. And all the money you need to spend to do b.tech from here is less than 4 lacs. So this is best. You can get an educational loan too but getting a Bihar student credit card is best.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is nice here as you can have a view of the river Ganga from your hostel room, you will get food in your room. You will have a lot of fun in 4 years here. Yes, Ragging happens here too but not in a violent manner. The gender ratio of girls vs boys is 1:20. Lab for E.C.E., C.S.E., electrical and civil is actually fantastic for mechanical engineering students lab is good but not as the reputation of this college is. In sports, we have cricket volleyball badminton chess a there is a little bit of football. There is a robotics club in this college and that works fine. For debates, there is a club in which not only debate actually every competition related to literature is done.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

For first-year students, a hostel is not available. From the 2nd year, you have a choice to get a hostel or not. So in the first year, you have to spend probably 55000 on lodging and fooding. from the second year if you choose a hostel then you have to spend 25000 on this.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network in this college is just about consecutive year students, in fact, a 2nd-year student has a good relationship with a 1st-year student and a 3rd-year student too but not with a 4th-year student. Seniors are very helpful that's because of the culture of this college. They will help you with their suggestions, they will pay the bill for you if you are in the same shop with them.

Admission

I got admission here through jee main. From 2019 jee main is the way you can get admission here. Before 2019 Bcece used to conduct their own exam for admission in this college. Dates for jee main are in April and January. After 10 days of jee main results of April you have to register on Bcece and after jee advanced you get your ranks in Bihar and then counseling happens.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is good probably the best in Bihar. Most of the faculties have very well-behaved and exciting teaching methods. Yet they have to improve to make this college competitive in India. Till now this is the best college in Bihar engineering. For a general student, one needs their rank under 100000 to get into this.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many big companies, like Amazon, Adobe, etc., It comes every year and offers a nice package to eligible students. Every year, nearly 50 companies pay a visit. CSE students got the maximum package and offers here, followed by ECE. The highest package in the 2021 year was 1.60 crore, which was an off-campus placement, but when we talk about on-campus placement, the maximum package was also 42 lakhs. The average salary is ten lakhs. Almost all CSE students got placed this year. The CSE and ECE placements are really excellent here. But there are few placements in core branches.

Placement Experience:

Tech Mahindra, L&T, Google, and many more companies offer internships with stipends during their learning months. Projects are to be completed before final exams because according to the projects final semesters marks are given and externals give marks on their performance and hire each graduate. At 7 the semester college students are eligible for placements here. Some placed after that and at the ultimate, nearly many students positioned at the precise package.

Placement Experience:

By far, 3rd-year students sit in drives and placements. But from this year 2nd year is to doing good and planning for internship and various pre-placement offers. Last year, the Highest package was given to 3rd (now 4th) year student of 15 Lac per annum from Cisco. Other few students are placed in Capgemini and all. The average package is 4 lac per annum. only half of the students sit in placement as most of them are inclined towards higher studies or Government jobs so even if they receive offers, they reject it. I want to be an IPS officer just after passing my college in 2023. Apart from this, I want to work too in MNC as a cyber security specialist in Software developer.

Placement Experience:

eligibility- from 7th semester students are allowed to participate in hiring process. companies - TCS, BYJUS, COGNIZANT, MINDTREE, DXC, ITC, WIPRO, are significant recruiters who hired some students. TCS hired most, 14 students and most of the other companies hired one or two students. only 30% of us are placed, luckily I am one of them. only one student has been placed by core companies. Only one came to our college. Rest of them are software Engineer or sales executive jobs. no of student placed is really poor so I recommend you not to take admission in our college. I am now hired by DXC technologies, waiting for the joining dates and venues. I have plans of higher studies after two years when companies allow us to do higher study, Mtech or MBA.
