Remarks

The college has been aiming to provide the best medical professionals to the society. It has working towards the overall development of the students. It offers various scholarships to the meritorious students. Overall it is a nice college with a great infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is based on the rules laid down by the royal college of Glasgow. It has different types of specialisations available like physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, dental technology etc. to choose.

Placement Experience

The college offers a good placement scope for the students. It has offering a great job opportunity for them. It also helps in taking up internships as a part of course curriculum. The students can work in private as well as public sector.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the three year course is ?2,10,000. It has to be paid in the three academic years. The amount is equal for all the three years which is ?70,000. It is affordable and very feasible. One should not worry about the fees.

Campus Life

There are IT labs in the campus. There is a good library with an excellent seating capacity. It has well equipped labs to carry out the research work. It conducts medical seminars which is addressed by the renowned guest faculty lectures.

I enquired about the college on the official website. It has all the information available regarding the admission. The college admits the students on the basis of merit list. It considers the 10+2 marks in the science stream.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

They allow all cultural events.They also conduct events in the college

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

Exams can be usually easy as this is a five year integrated course
Some faculties are friendly as they themselves are fresh graduates

Dislikes

But most faculties come off very rude and disrespectful
The office people are not at all approachable
The student login has so many glitches which cause delays in downloading of hallticket

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is one end semester exam and 2 CIAs in one year.Endsem is for 100m and CIAs are 40marks each . There is one assignment for each CIA for 10m each. So totally both the CIA together is 100 marks. Then the average of CIA and end semester is calculated if 40 or above it's pass otherwise you have to reappear. The subjects are not at relevant as computer science keeps changing regularly.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

Saveetha Dental college was my first dream college and I also got into it! I really chose the college because it is ranked the No.1 dental college in India and holds and SCIMAGO rank of no.1 and the World WS ranking is no.18 . The college has a great infrastructure and we do the things at 1st years that only a student of 3rd year does in other colleges! And I don't think many colleges teach them digital designing! Something that this college does teaches! And the labs and fantastic! They are completely since aesthetic and all lab and classrooms are AC conditioned. For joining saveetha dental college you need register through TNMC counselling and choose this college as your first option to join! The cut offs here vary according the the AIR NEET ranks...but mostly you can get admission here if you score around 120-300/750 as well....Read More
