Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very nicely designed our college have good infrastructure and will it cube labs to supports all kind of learning. Aur college organiser examinations regularly so that regular check on the study can be done.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities after passing from this college is a good level. Almost 60% of the student got placed in management companies of India. Currently internship is not provided by the college. The placement record is expected to increase in the coming year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college for BSc degree is 3500 per annum (tuition fee only). it is quite pocket friendly and economical for all. You won't forget about the money you spend here the culture and environment will make you a different person after passing from college then what you were at the time of taking admission.

Campus Life

Aur college organises various cultural fest for the relaxation and refreshment of the students. Our College witness many guest lecturer and social debates for the overall development of the students. I am very much satisfied by my college.

Admission into this college is quite simple. Applications for admission can be done from the official website of the college at the cost of 150 rupees. Admission is on the basis of the marks obtained in class 12th examination.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.
