Days at Saveetha School of Law

This college is the best and really great college in terms of academics, infrastructure, faculties, extra-curricular activities and events etc. The college also has a huge library with massive collections that every student can access. We have two canteens that offer varieties of food with huge space and cashless transactions.

The college follows CBCS pattern for course curriculum as well as exam. My course is a five-years integrated course as we do LLB with 3 years of graduation in BA. Our course curriculum includes both LLB and BA subjects. But the best part is labs and exams have a decent gap which allows us to prepare nicely before semester exams.

The rate of placements and job opportunities are really great in our college. Many seniors have already been settled with a well-established and reputed companies. Some of them have been recruited by government companies as well.

We have several fests, events celebrated in our college. We have fresher's, farewells , other exciting fests every year in our college. The most magnificent fest till now is Aathaman. It is an inter college fest which was last conducted at MCC, Chennai. It also includes events like painting, dancing, vocals and many more.

According to my perspective, the fee structure is a bit expensive but is feasible and fair. The total course fees for my 5 years graduation plan is Rs 11.4 lakhs that also includes examination fees, tuition fees and other fees as well.

We have a number of options for extra-curricular activities here in this college. We have inter college sports events for cricket, basketball, volleyball which has active participation from students. We have various seminars, workshops on social issues, moot courts as a practice for law pursuing students.

Yes, I have opted for hostel, and if I would have to rate, I would gladly rate it 10/10. Saveetha School of Law has the best hostel rooms with modern facilities unlike any other private colleges. The hostel rooms are well-furnished with washing machines, a/c and what not.

The admission process is not at all complicated. To get admission in this institute one should have a minimum percentage which is 60% in 10+2 boards. After the results of boards are out, as I was having 70%, I was eligible to apply for this college. I downloaded the applications and after a few days was called. Selection is based on how you performed in the interview followed by group discussion round. As I was having nice scoring in the interview, got an admission in this college.

We have 60 experienced, having in-depth knowledge, are experts in their particular field faculties in our college. They are very helpful and lenient towards every student and try everything to make us good in front of the society.
