Entrance Preview
I didnt get into this college through any entrance. I got through merit quota and i had score 75% in my 12th cbse board. I chose this college because it got excellent placement history and a very good academic background.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good. All subjects i can say for my department was quite interesting. each semester 4 main subjects and 2 electives with 2 labs. So it was good.
Internships Opportunities
I didnt do any internship while i was in college. Companies when they come for placement provides internship as a final year project so instead of doing a project we can do internship in company and get paid too.
Placement Experience
This was the main reason i joined sastra and it was the right decision. I got placed in as very good company and i am still in that company working as a marketing analyst which i love to work on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very feasible . For the quality of eduction it provide and facilities it gives it is quite affordable. When i joined the college my tution was around 35000 per semester so i would end up spending 1.25-1.5 lakh per annum including everything.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan is offered to most of the student not by the college but by other banks. College as such doesnt provide any loan as it is not that expensive college compared to its standard colleges like srm and vit.
Campus Life
Campus life again its based on the individual. Campus is great. Lots of extra curricular activities to keep you busy through out the year. So many festivals including technical, cultural as well as sports.
Exam Structure
Exams are a good test of your abilities. they include mid terms, semester exams, labs practicals. Main semester are a breeze as we have gaps in between to prepare but mid terms are roller coaster as we have 2 in a day.
Faculty
Faculties are really good. Most of them with phd and some junior staff with mtech and pursuing phd at the same time they teach. So they also keep learning as well as teach us.
