Entrance Preview
NIMCET, Got 520th rank in india and 20th in state. Went to NIT warangal for admission. Had counselling there. Chose NIT Trichy as my college because of the great history and then its history :)
Course Curriculum Overview
MCA is a very good course in NITT. One of the most sought for courses. Had many programming language courses with theoritical and practical implementations too.
Internships Opportunities
College internship was a good option. We had to spend the last semester in a company where we would be having hands on experience of a realtime project. I was offerred 10000 Rs per month as stipend for 6 months.
Placement Experience
Placements is pretty good in NITT. Many Top companies visit there to recruit students. The brand name and history of college pays you even as high as 1 lac per month with average salary of 35-40K per month.
College Events
Festember is pure intra college cultural event. NITT Fest is a inter college cultural event where other colleges participate. Apart form this, we had Pragyan every year where colleges from all parts of teh country participate in their respective technical abilities and prove their academic talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee strucutre is nominal since its a government aided college. It includes hostel fees, mess fees and curriculum fees. Bank loans were also arranged in college for student's help

Campus Life
Life at NITT is one awesome and cannot forget anything in it. Labs, sports and hostels and shops inside college for tea, coffee and juices and a small canteen though food wasn't great, it was manageable for students at that time.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms will be sharing 2 or 3 in first or second years. When it comes to 3rd and final year, it will be a single sharing room to concentrate more on studies and placements. Mess is good too.
Alumni/Alumna
RECAL is an alumini network for NITT students which coordinates with college on various activities and students and aluminis participate with full interest.
Exam Structure
Had many programming language courses with theoritical and practical implementations too. We had labs running all over 24 X 7 which helps students work on it.
Faculty
They were pretty good. Mixed with highly qualified senior staffs with also newly appointed energetic lecturers. I personally liked few of the professors who were on the student's end and were very much interested for the improvement of students.
