Remarks
The college has remarkable facilities like the sports complex, canteen, computer labs, library, architecture lab, climatology lab etc. They have amazing infrastructure and extremely qualified teachers. The experience i had with MEASI was amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is affliated to the Anna university, so we followed the curriculum they had placed. The syllabus was quite mordenised. They made sure that the students were taught things that would place them in an upcoming international market.
Placement Experience
Being an BArch student we had to do one year of practical training or internship to gain experience in the field. The college gave us full support in helping us build our own portfolios for recruiters. Almost all of the people who studied the course got employed soon. There's always a demand on architects.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fees set up by the university is quite reasonable. We get formal quality education for the amount we paid plus the internship which helps us gain experience. Comparing to the other colleges our college provides reasonable expectations in reasonable amount.
Campus Life
There are many functions and extra training sessions provided to the student in the college. Many workshops and seminars are conducted throughout the year to give us the knowledge. They also have sports meeting to let the students blow off some steam.
Admission
For BArch, I had to write the National Aptitude Test for Architecture entrance exam. The cut-off for the course were the marks i got in the entrance exam and the marks i got on my twleve. It was like admissions to any other college.
Faculty
The faculty was very welcoming and supportive. They were available to you whenever you had doubts or were confused. Prof. Dr. Priya Sasidharan was one of the best teachers i have met. They made sure we were intergrated into the profession with ease.
