Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is two years which is further divided into four semesters. The subjects which we are taught in these four semesters are real estate finance, construction project management, urban policy & regulations, introduction to real estate design & development, contract law, laws relating to property & land procurement etc. Moreover we have to choose a elective subject in all the four semesters.The total seats in our college are 20 for M.arch in real state management.
Placement Experience
Top real estate companies such as HDIL, Brigade enterprise Ltd, India bulls real estate, Omaxe Ltd, DLF Ltd, Goderaj properties Ltd and many more visited my college during our batch. 22 lpa was the highest package which was grabbed by a girl in my department from DLF Ltd. Positions such as project manager, research analyst, department head, senior architect, junior partner etc were offered to students. The stipend for internships was fixed at 10,000 per month in various real estate companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very nominal. The admission fees of 1,000 needs to be deposited at the start of the semester. The total fees including mess charges, library fees, club membership fees, sports fees etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
50% fee concession is awarded to students who are toppers in the previous examination. Scholarships are also provided to children of ex-serviceman, army personnel, freedom fighters. Fee concession is also given to students whose family income does not exceed 2 lpa.
Campus Life
Our college often organises volunteering campaigns such as save the environment, public heath, diseases, road traffic etc to educate the people. Activities such as pottery making, painting, t-shirt dyeing, spray painting, debate competition, essay competition, music events, dancing etc are held so that the students can showcase their talent.
Admission
The students who want admission n this college need to have a Bachelors degree in the field of architecture from any C.O.A (recognized school). The students who have B.E degree from any institute which is approved by the AICTE are also eligible to apply. You can fill the form online and pay the necessary fees. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores of the Bachelors program . My name was in the second list and I was called by the college administration for document verification and later granted admission.
Faculty
The teachers have valuable knowledge in the field of architecture. Many of them have 15+ years of teaching and more than 5+ years of work experience in their relevant field. The teaching methodology of every teacher is quite different and innovative so that the students can impart education from different teachers. Case studies and research projects are given on a regular basis. Solutions to the projects are duly explained by the teachers.
