My journey in Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University

The masters program in political science is a course for two years. Each year there was two semesters, that we had to give. We had to give total four semesters in the entire course and plenty of class tests. The professors often gave us assignments to perform.

Our university did not arrange any placement programs for us. There were few workshops and seminars organised by the faculty members and the professors of our university, which helped us to to choose the right path after we finish our post graduation.

The professors and the seniors of our department and other departments arranged a cultural program both the years, in which many of us participated mainly in singing, dancing or reciting. Apart from this our seniors also gave us a small freshers program in our first year.

Since this university is a state university, the fees structure for our course was quite economic. It was really nominal than many of the other renowned universities. We did not need to pay the fees altogether. We had to pay the fees on semester basis.

In our department there were students from various economic statuses and religions. I have never felt or experienced any discrimination in our class. I had made many friends from my department and most of them are still in touch with me.

We had a social media group with our seniors. My seniors were all extremely supportive and helpful. They helped us with there notes and also helped us in doing our assignments. I am still friends with some of my seniors.

After completing my graduation in political science I was determined to take admission in Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University. Since I had scored pretty decent marks in my graduation, my name was on the first list of the selected candidates.

The faculty members of my department were quite supportive. Our professors were highly qualified. The ambiance of our university was vibrant and student friendly. The library was also quite good and had most of the reference books that were required for the course.
