Course Curriculum Overview
I and the students from my batch spent most of the time in the computer lab our subjects were practical but there were some theory lectures every consecutive day. Also, there were exams conducted in the lab as a practical exam and after that, there were main exams followed by external viva.
Placement Experience
At the Shayampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya, I got one job offer but the pay was not much so I decided to apply directly. Also, students preferred to take the job from campus placement to earn experience and also the internship which was offered by the institute.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees taken by the college were legitimate and most appropriate for the students as I have to give only 2,100 per annum and every other extra fee and exam charge is included in it. Every student felt the fee structure feasible.
Campus Life
Students along with the curriculum were more engaged in sports as there were many sports facilities available at the college. The gender ratio was unstable as there were more boys but the unity was maintained by the students at the college. Also, a study trip for the students was organized.
Hostel Facilities
There are hostels for the students?accommodation where the rooms are good along with the food at the mess. As the hostel facilities are in the college itself, with the separate building for boys and girls, it was preferred by everyone as the fees were quite appropriate.
Alumni/Alumna
The interaction with seniors was the only preferred option by the students. I played sports and interacted much with the seniors as they were quite responsive. Every year the college organizes a meet with the alumni students so that they can share their experience with the current students.
Admission
As per my perspective, it was much easy to get admission here as the admission was merit-based and my marks were above average. Also, the procedure for students was set at the college itself with all the assistance followed by counseling after the students submit the documents along with the application.
Faculty
The faculty had a master? degree from a relevant course and they told us the importance of doing the higher studies along with the extra lectures after the syllabus got completed. Also, they preferred institutes where students can apply for a job or an internship
