My Hospitality Journey With State Institute of Hotel Management - [IHM]

I would say my overall experience with my college was great. It helped me love my field more. Additionally, the well-structured teaching procedure, along with highly equipped classrooms made it to best part of life.I completed my graduation under some brilliant faculty who supported me wholeheartedly. Also, the fees structure was feasible. Therefore it is a great experience.

I loved the teaching methods that were implemented in my institute. Faculty members practised both practical and theory each day thus enabling us to keep balance and stay updated with the whereabouts of the course. It was a 3 years fulltime program which was separated by six semes. And students sat for final exams after completion of each semester.

The placement department is very dedicated to building their student? bright profession. Yes. I was placed and secured a great job under a renowned corporate and currently working here. It is a great experience overall. Additionally, in my 2nd year, I underwent an industrial training as my internship program where I received 1000-1500/- as my stipend.

I spent around 3 lakhs for my academic session. Additionally, students who apply for hostel facility needs to pay around 50k annually. Considering both the situation. The total amount charged by the institutes is very feasible when compared with the other options out there. It is not at all expensive from any perspective.

Well, unfortunately, there is no scholarship program offered here. However, if I dive down into my list of experience, I remember one of my friends suffered a tragic loss thus engaging into a massive financial issue. When he conveyed the matter to the college admin, they totally understood the situation and availed concession from the next semester fees.

These were the best time that I can remember from my college. From celebrating Lohri to blood donation camp every single opportunity got its chance in my college. This not only offered us a great time for me but also made my regular life different from time to time.

Working in the service industry was always my dream, therefore choosing the best was my top priority after securing satisfactory marks in 12th. Since I belong from English medium background luck was working in my favour. However, getting a solid rank in NCHMCT JEE was the next hurdle to cross. I passed it since I worked with passion and respect for this field. After that, I sat for a personal interview which also went great. Getting admission becomes easy if you have a passion for your career.

I am really very glad that I chose my institute to do my graduation. I was lucky to get taught under some of the brilliant minds. Not they love their jobs. Additionally, they provided us with their hands-on experience in the industry that made us learn the best from them. I had really good time with them.
