Remarks

Every day in Delhi School of Music makes me count my stars! I can't believe I made it so far. I love the place because it is filled with positivity and everyone helps the other, without any ulterior motive. Loved my year here!

Course Curriculum Overview

The classes are intense and even more so because both teachers and we students strive for perfection! We have one 40 minute class every week. But the main effort goes in when we are not in class- it goes into thorough practice.

Placement Experience

4

No, college does not provide internship or hold placements. But college gives us the best thing we can ask for in the musical profession- a big enough platform to showcase our talent. This is where future recruiters meet us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The 1 year certification course in guitar costs Rs 44,000. However, this is split in 4 quarterly payments of Rs 11,000. It is definitely expensive, but the level of education imparted and the exposure achieved makes it worth the money.

Campus Life

Our school has three main departments- ballet, vocals and instruments. And the extra-curricular revolves around these only. We also have a variety of talented people of different communities here, bound together by our passion for music.

Admission

Guitar has played a huge role in my life right from when I was 10. That is why, when I applied at the Delhi School of Music, I knew it had to be in one subject only- Guitar. But it as a close competition to get in as this is the most in-demand course here!

Faculty

4.5

Our teachers, Mr. Aching Shaiza and Mr. Baren Sutar give their all when they are teaching us! They have higher degrees themselves and have been in this field for decades! I am privileged to learn from them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.
