Remarks

This college had good facilities and the non-teaching staff tries o provide complete assistance to the students. Also, the labs have every equipment a student needs to practice during lab lectures and the faculty are also very helpful and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

As similar to other colleges, here also the MBBS course was very lengthy and needed much time to complete the course for once also. However, the exams seemed much tough as it was every year but there were tests in the lectures and a college internal exam was organized before the final ones.

Placement Experience

4.5

The job and placements were the second options as there were mandatory internships at the college for everyone to complete the current graduation. However, there were numerous opportunities once the students complete the MBBS degree at the college itself.

College Events

4

There were general events like quiz competitions, inaugural and awareness programs, village visits. On the other hand, there were religious festival events, national events and several management festivals celebrated by the students and everyone participated willingly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This particular college took admission fees of 2000 which was to be paid once the students get admission during the time of enrollment. Apart from it, the fees for one year were 34,600 and for the rest of the year also, we paid the same amount as a whole.

Campus Life

Focusing on extracurricular activities, students were busier due to the curriculum so many avoided these activities but some of the students played badminton and volleyball at the playground during their leisure time. Student diversity was rich at the campus and every student was from well to do family.

Admission

It was quite tough to get admission for this particular course as the cutoff was high. I applied to the management quota and despite moderate scores, I get the admission letter. I followed the online application process and the admission was entrance-based and on NEET-UG at the college.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty put more emphasis on practical knowledge and told everyone to pay complete attention to every lab and make notes during the lectures. Some expert lectures were also organized almost every week where the head of the department came to take the lecture for several complex topics.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fairly decent, with a range of companies recruiting, though non-tech students often face challenges in securing relevant roles. The placement team conducts mock interviews and workshops to enhance students' soft skills. Salary packages vary significantly based on the company and individual skill set, and internship opportunities are also available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
