Remarks

The college is remarkably well maintained and has a good rank as well. The fees are too much and hence an ordinary student won't be able to afford it. The education, activities and placements are upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of five years during which the students are trained about court procedures, laws and various ammendments that are there. Current situation and changes till now in laws are mentioned in it.

Placement Experience

The college has a career and professional development cell. Here, the students are tarined in resume building, polishing skills and broaden analysis. The campus recruitment takes place in the final year. Prior to this the students have to undergo an internship program as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for this course is 3,10,000/- per year and an extra refundable amount of 10,000/- to be paid at the time of admissions. The fees for NRI is 4,46,000/- per year with an extra 40,000/- as admission fees and 10,000 as other fees.

Campus Life

The college is very popular for its extracurricular activities. Football competitions, convocation ceremonies, study tour and visits, international level competitions and so on. The students have done well in all of these.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees are 1.66 lakhs per year for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are excellent. All the possible facilities are available here for a comfortable stay. It feels at home. There are hostel rules and regulations that are to be followed by all.

Admission

The students applying for this course have to give SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) and SLS. The registration for this can be done on the college website. The fees for this are 1750/- for SLAT and 1000/- for SLS. Based on these marks admissions are carried out.

The faculties here are experienced in the judiciary. Some of them are still practicing advocates, thus, helping the students to know more. They teach through a two way communication between student and teachers. This is very effective.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

College life at SLS, NAGPUR.

The entrance exam was quite easy, students were allowed to appear for both the examinations if they like and think that they could do better. After the entrance exam there is a WAT around where a student requires to write an essay on a particular topic given. After qualifying both the rounds, the student is asked to give personal interview where the questions are basically based on the documents you've submitted and the course which you took in 11th and 12th and also why you're choosing that particular degree.
