Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is excellent and structured. Theory and practice are all included in the course syllabus. Getting good marks in practice is good, and if you work hard on the course, we will definitely shine.

Placement Experience

As a girls' college, we receive a lot of help from our teachers during placement. Not many, some companies visit here for placements, and some students find jobs in different companies. So the placement record of this college is great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are affordable. It is not so high. I have always paid my college fees without taking an education loan. Also, my classmates deposit college fees without applying for tuition because the fees are reasonable.

Campus Life

All cultural events are great. My friends and I spent a lot of time in the girl's common room at our college, and those are the days I really remember. Those are the happiest and most enjoyable days of my life.

Admission

After completing my 10 + 2 exam, I joined the college to get a BSc in Science. There is no entrance exam conducted for this course. I was able to easily access it with no trouble. After selection, I visit the college to fill the admission form and submit some documents.

All of the faculty are highly experienced. Many of our college faculty have doctorate degrees and are very talented throughout the week. I got a lot of help from our college faculty during my class days.

Honest Review about Praxis Business School

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.
