Course Curriculum Overview

The course has the basic engineering subjects with specialized subjects like dairy process engineering and food engineering. As for the exam structure, two internal exams are taken during each semester and then a final end semester examination.

Placement Experience

Placement in college is rising year by year. In 2017, when I first entered college, not many people were placed, but by 2019, 75% of students were getting placed. Companies like DRDO also visit campus every year to hire.

College Events

Every year we have a Village Adoption program in college called Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav, wherein we are taught what exactly constitutes a model village. The handling of the livestock, how to reduce their mortality, all these are taught in detail.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a public government university, the fee is quite affordable and is paid annually. The best part is that a number of scholarships are offered by the state government to alleviate the cost of students who can't afford it.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are a big part of college life and it is no different in Kamdhenu. We have sporting facilities in college where the sports events take place. We also have mehndi making and logo designing competitions!

Admission

There are two criteria for securing admission in this college- you are required to pass your Class 12 examinations with at least 40% and you must secure qualifying rank in GUJCET. After this, the merit list is created and students are taken in.

Faculty

The faculty in our college are very knowledgeable about their field and they try to give us as much practical exposure as possible by taking us to farms, teaching us about livestock and conducting livestock shows in college.

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

Placement Experience:

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

From semester 7th students become eligible for campus placement. there are so many compnies that are visited & offered sudents like L&T, Infosys, TCS, HCL, INTEL. there is 22.6 LPA package is highest package in Mechanical Department and Averege Package is 4.2 LPA. There were 67% students placed in year 2024. My Plan is to go abroad for Masters after getiing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Review the SVIT college by a dumbass who apparently decided to do D.voc????

Placement Experience:

Well we are not eligible for placements and I don't know about others. The college says studes have gotten jobs at companies like Google, MS, intel, AMD, Airbnb but not sure how true that is. Don't have info on what package students get on average or who's gotten the highest. Don't have info on percentage of students getting placements, but I ASSUME it's low and obviously students should apply for placements outside of campus anyways.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students become eligible to sit in the placement of the college. The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.
