Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects which are part of the syllabus are top class and it will really make sure we understand all the basic and essential factors which are required to acquire the required skills. It will also help us to do higher education very easily.

Placement Experience

We usually get jobs posted on the websites of the college or by reference of our seniors. The management has good connections with which they provide more opportunities and information about the open positions in different companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The main attraction to this college is the fees part. The fees is very nominal and what I paid was just 14,000 per year. Does it sound interesting?. This do include hostel and food charges. All other charges like deposits, red cross, students fund are all included.

Campus Life

As you know that Srinagar is a place for entertainment, our college conducted many events during my years. Excursions, NCC camps, awareness programs, speeches by top officials were part of the extra curricular activities.

Admission

Admission process to the college is simple. We have to fill the application form or download the same from the website and apply. All copies of the mandatory documents needs to be submitted or uploaded. When we are shortlisted, we will have to go to the university for verification and interview.

Faculty

Faculties are very good and experienced in their own fields. Most of them are even practicing accountants for many companies here. They make sure that the importance of the syllabus by enabling more practical approach.

Placement Experience:

From the starting of 4th year ,we are eligible to sit in the placement and the ratio is almost 65-70 percent percentage head and for it and cse - increff, microsoft ,make my trip ,paypal ,and visa and for civil - L&T and many sales company

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

IIM Jammu is a spring breaker!

Placement Experience:

Till we are doing BBA there are no placements but from 4th year we are posted directly for MBA and then the placement eligibility starts. Average is between 10-15 lakhs and many prominent industries which we have heard of have started coming to IIM Jammu. Also, placements record were nearly 96% at IIM Jammu.

AIIMS JAMMU TOTAL REVEIW

Placement Experience:

You can get a job here after completing MBBS or md. Can go to any hospital or open your own. 1.5L per month is avg for a doctor. Starting around 90k a month. Internship gives 28500 per month. No batch has currently passed out from this college . Comparatively new college. 2020 batch(oldest batch) still doing internship.

Good collage

I didnt applied for other colleges , i choosed this college because of the subject i was interested in . I didn't applied to any other college .
