Remarks

One thing that sets ICI apart is it's newly constructed and high tech infrastructure , the buildings are designed recently so are highly facilitated and modern, all the labs and rooms are sir conditioned and provide comfort to the students. The cafeteria is also a very cool place to hang out at.

Course Curriculum Overview

The program is aimed to produce Chefs to cater hotel, hospitality and allied industry. In the hotel/hospitality industry, highest paid employee is Chef. Chefs are responsible for preparation of food with culinary skills, which is the main identity of the hotel and the place. One gets an opportunity to showcase his/her talent in the field of culinary arts.

Placement Experience

Students get the opportunity to be placed as Chef in Hotel and allied hospitality industry Kitchen Management positions in Hotels after initial stint as trainee,Flight Kitchens services Indian Navy Hospitality services,Management Trainee/Executive in International and National fast food chains,Hospital and Institutional Catering. The average package falls around 6 lakhs p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for my course is very flexible , the total fees for the course is rupees 3,01,500. We have to pay fees semester wise so that the students don't face any financial burden . The fees is to paid online or by way of cheque.

Campus Life

The extracurriculur activities at ICI are taken care of by the students, the students organize a variety of events and seminars throughout the year, the annual cultural fest is organized with full enthusiasm and grit. The students are very welcoming and kind, and it's very easy to find a peer group.

Admission

The admissions happen on the basis of a national level entrance test where admission is given on the basis of your AIR(All INDIA RANK) I scored an AIR 35 and managed to get into one of the most prestigious culinary institutions of India,ICI. I had worked really hard for the entrance test and was delighted when it finally paid off.

The course curriculum for my course is very dynamic and classes are held on regular basis. The course structure is well formed and . The course covers all the important topics and theories and has been designed to ensure that students understand the concepts in a better manner.

Placement Experience:

Thier are companies who come for on campus placements but the packages is really low like the maximum it goes it 4 laks per annum. One have to maintain at least 8 CGPA to sit in the placement cell. Your performance decide your placement.

Students seeking admission in 3 years BCA full-time course, must have passed 10+2 in relevant stream with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.No entrance exam is conducted for seeking admission in the BCA course.

Admission:

The B Com course at this college had a pretty good exposure to the commerce field which is why i opted for this course. The admission procedure is not tedious and long, the students are selected on the basis of their 12th grade marks.
