Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very difficult and we have to work very hard to attain the desired results. The course is very well designed and divided, it makes you go step by step. With each passing year, the course gets tougher and so the number of hours we have to put in also increases.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is not well known as I did not want to immediately go for a job. Few of my friends already had a job in hand from before. You are well respected after the course and get a lot of opportunities to work in the future with good companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It provides the ideal atmosphere for the students to study. The fee is average and maximum students can easily afford it. The fee included all the facilities of labs and everything. We do not have to pay extra for the seminars and conferences conducted by the university.

Campus Life

My college has so many events starting from dance, singing, culture to sports. Loads of events are organized and many of us participate in it. The labs are so huge and very well maintained bu the university. Beautiful infrastructure and the college are beautifully decorated whenever there is an event or conference.

Admission

Getting admission into my college is purely based on your previous qualifications and grades. I had done my graduation in M.SC and scored 75%. I had also given my GATE exam and cleared with above 50%. So the admission was done directly without any problem.

The proffesors are extremely supportive of each student and their issues. They explain everything very well and in detail. No complaints from the professors. They are more friendly with you once they start getting to know you.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
