Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well made and the schedule is manageable .You will be given assignments,projects etc which are include in the evaluation. The exams are scheduled in such a way that the exams on't seem hectic.

Placement Experience

The placements are satisfactory.The students are taught various techniques to face the interview and face the world. You can also go to the placement and career cell for any advice you need to regarding your career

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is built well and no unnecessary fees is added.Everything that you pay for you will see that where your money is going.The money value is their in this college and you will not have to spend lakhs of money for quality education

Campus Life

There are different labs like physics labs, Computer labs etc for the students and they are very well built according to requirement of the students.The teachers conduct the practical here.There are intramural sports activities which take place at the college.

You can talk to the seniors at anytime.You don't have to be intimidated or scared by them. They are friendly and will always help you out with your doubts regarding any assignments or projects or even if you need any kind of career advice.

The eligibility criteria was to clear class 12th examination with an aggregate of 50% marks. Then fill out the application form available at the website of the college.Then the college releases the merit list and if you qualify that list you will be granted admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

FAROOK KOTTAKKAL ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE - REVIEW

I prefer this college over others is basically for many reasons. The college infrastructure is well equipped. As far as a classroom are considered, they are the cleanest one. However, they don't have smartboards. Laboratories are well equipped and updated with new equipment though the library is small but has all the collections of needy books. Canteen is well maintained and hygienic. We have a playground and we do have a seminar hall to conduct occasional events. The good thing about this college is that the fees are very low and they have the good and best faculty members. They are so kind and helpful. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination or examinations recognized as equivalent with 50per marks are eligible for admission. The students will have to give the entrance exam for the admission and based on their merit they will be selected. The admission process starts at the month of April till August.
