A Good Platform

The college provided the exposure to gain the degree without bothering the work life of us. It gave a huge exposure and platform to perform and train us. The distance learning provided was not less than the regular college.

The duration of the course was of 3 years and we had 4-5 subjects per semester along with the communication skills and behaviour science. The classes were regular online with proper notes provided. Some practical classes for the IT were conducted in the campus and we used to perform them in computer labs. The thorough examinations were conducted semester wise, as externals. Curriculum was very relaxing as per the distance learning.

The university recommends to study further for the masters but had some placements from known MNCs across the country. The admission was on the basis of Academics and interview performance but the scope would only get bigger if we opt for masters.

The events were celebrated like farewell, some ceremonies, workshops etc only for our guidance regarding the future. The college is for distance learning so we did not have any cultural festivals or sports day celebration.

The fees is taken annually. It costs INR 23,000 for the first year and then for the other two. This fees is feasible given the quality of education the university provides along with the basic lab facilities like for regular students.

Since it was an off campus the events were only restricted to our farewell and honor ceremonies. The labs were fully equipped with latest technology and running protocols. The libraries were full of e-books and given course books. The infrastructure was nicely constructed and proper facilities were provided.

There were no hostel accommodation in the campus since it was for distance learning only. We had paying guests and private hostels located within 100 metres of distance. They were all secured and safe. The range was between INR 500- INR 2,000.

The alumni network was not active because the college was for distance learning only. Although few seniors used to come once in a while and told us about their experiences and exposure. Hence they were all very humble and helpful.

To get admission in this college i had to give an entrance exam conducted by Lovely Professional University, LPUNEST, those who secure 50% above marks are eligible to apply. I got 75% on the entrance along with the 10+2, the application form is available online where we need to fill details and then later called for counselling for the Bsc Course. The fees is deposited on the first day along with the authentic documents.

The faculty conducted classes online and were all very noble in delivering lectures with proper guidance and were all helpful. Along with the lectures we had e-books and videos to guide along. The important notes and question papers were uploaded by the teachers too. It helped us along the due course.
