Remarks

The college is pretty amazing for the Ph.D program. It is extremely dedicated and focused on the academics and aim to make the students completely study oriented. The facilities that the college provides are good too.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a three year course in Chemical sciences which mainly revolves around research and theory since the students have to submit their thesis and research paper. The firs year was learning and the last two years were focused on writing the paper.

Placement Experience

The college offers opportunities to the students for jobs through the placement drive that they conduct and call over companies who have suitable jobs for the candidates in whatever field they are studying in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is not very expensive. The fee structure for the Ph.D program is pretty nominal and includes the tuition fee and the hostel fee. Both together too are quite affordable and are not a exorbitant at all.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students who wish to get a scholarship for the program are supposed to sit for the National Eligibility Test-Junior Research Fellowship(NET-JRF) exam. If you pass that exam, you can attain a scholarship for your program period.

Campus Life

The college is very study oriented and encourages the students to focus on academics and their thesis more than extra curricular activities. But, the college does get together once in a while and celebrate festivals.

Hostel Facilities

The college also offers a hostel accommodation to the students for the 3 year program. The hostel fee is quite cheap and the rooms are spacious with all amenities such as 24 hour electricity, clean drinking water, furnishing, etc.

Admission

The college has an entire procedure for admission of students for the Ph.D program. The students have to fill up a form that is available on the official website of the college and upload the mentioned documents, after which there will be an interview round.

The faculty helps a lot in lifting the burden off the student's shoulders by lending a helping a hand with the papers. They help the students individually with their papers and throughout the research part of it.

Indian Institute of Chemical Technology was started as the Central Laboratories for Scientific & Industrial Research (CLSIR) by the then huge State of Hyderabad. For admission in this college, you must be B.Tech, candidates and have to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics by 50% marks. For selection, candidates must take the JEE Main or MHT CET.
