Remarks
I completed my BCA from Dhirendra Mahila Mahavidyalaya. The college life was quite memorable for me and helpful in my later career, my seniors also guided me well which also helped me in getting placed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite good and basic covering all important subjects like DS And Algos, OOPS, Networking, etc which are required as basics in the computer science field. The exams were held on a semester basis and we had a total of 6 semesters.
Placement Experience
The college offers average packages in campus placements. A few companies regularly visit the college campus on a yearly basis. The teachers also guided the willing students in getting placed either on-campus or off-campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite feasible being around Rs. 60,000 charged annually and the total fee is around Rs. 1,20,000. There are also multiple scholarships available with the college like state and central scholarships for girls.
Campus Life
The college actively good extracurricular activities for students like dance competitions, singing, poetry, debate and extempore. The college labs are also well equipped with functional computer systems and college also has a nice library.
Admission
The admission process starts with submitting the admission form at the college website online with fees for the entrance exam, followed by a merit list. Luckily, I got a good score and took admission here for pursuing BCA here.
Faculty
The faculties have a practical approach regarding studies as programming is a practical thing, teachers helped us learn how to code and understand the hardest basics of networking and databases, which helped us alot in later semesters.
