The college promotes practical learning, virtual learning etc which helps to push our limits and become more thoughtful about the course. It also encourages us to take up other programs making it mandatory by adding credits to our degree. It is a good college to pursue veterinary sciences.

The course is planned for 5 years. It offers various scientific training and research studies to prepare the students for further challenges. Exam curriculum is same as other colleges which is conducted at the end of every semester. Even the mid-term exams are conducted which holds 20% weightage.

It is compulsory for every student to go for rotating internship for 6 months after completing the fifth term exams. It has to be in the field of poultry production and management, clinical training etc. The placement rate is good and several veterinary industries offer seats to the meritorious students.

There are various events celebrated throughout the year. Some of them are inter college youth festival which includes sports events and cultural events, Intra-class fine arts and literary competition etc.

The total fee for the five year program is 246,138 INR. It has to be paid in five installments. First year-50,848, second year-43,710, third year-43,710, fourth year-65,560 and fifth year-42,310. It can be borne easily by the students.

Students are motivated to take part in extra-curricular activities like indoor games, equestrian training, basketball etc.There is a health complex for the treatment of staff and students. It also has a Central library which has variety of books.it has a separate cell for Agriculture research information service.

I have never faced any issue related to ragging in the college as the senior students are cooperative and friendly. It has an extensive alumni network but i have never interacted with them. We get guided by our seniors whenever required.

I had to appear for Pre-veterinary and fishery test conducted by M.P. professional examination board, Bhopal. It requires preparation and sheer determination to qualify the exam. I was shortlisted in the merit list. I got a call for counselling with Dean along with my guardian. Finally, I paid the fees and enrolled myself for the course.

I am still in the 4th year of my college and I have never been disappointed with the faculty members. They are some brilliant minds teaching in the class. They hold the top status in their domains. They conduct interactive sessions after lectures which is very helpful.
