Selection by Personal Interview and Merit. The course has good chances for government job and its different for other courses.

The course details of Fisheries anatomy, biology and processed technology, Extension and Management. The whole process is based on semester and its divided into quiz, hourly and final semester exam which is the best part and it helps in competitive exam. The course its designed in such a way that you are can have general knowledge, theoretical and practical in the entire curriculum.

Local Fish Processing Unit were there. Stipend was not upto the mark as there is no demand and course was new but its now upgraded and the stipend has also been increased.

Monarch Sea Foods, Gopal Sea Foods, Castle Rock Fisheries, Hindustan Lever Limited. Offer varies from 3000 to 10000 depends on the company.

Annual day function Tour for one day Industrial visit yearly technical tour covers fisheries sector and colleges, Cultural events, Annual Sports event organised by entire Gujarat Agricultural university.

Feasible and we were awarded with scholarships also. The best part is that the fees was almost negligible as scholarship amount was enough for students.

We have three scholarship. Poor scholarship, Merit based scholarship and other government scholarship.

We have good time to spare time on college extra curricular activities, lab and sports events were too good. Computer lab were always open for everybody. Sports activities always encouraged and you can play any of the game when you are free.

The hostel facilities is kept clean and hygiene. The mess food was decided by students only. Starting from vegetable and other groceries procurement and quality always maintained and taken as a priority.

We have good college alumni network spread across india and world. We have our alumni and also other national and international fisheries college alumni are connected through social sites.

Exams was based on semester system. we had 3 quiz exam, hourly exam, a practical exam and final exam at the end of semester. It was knowledgeable and exciting.

The college has good talented faculty which always upgrade themselves and always motivate students both in theoretical and practical aspects. They also helps us in getting job and placement.
