Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very finely structured with an emphasis on research. We were made to study case studies and apply our knowledge in practical ways to real world problems. We also have science exhibition and competitions.

Placement Experience

The college do not have an active placement cell but they do inform and update us about various job opportunities available for us in various streams. Jobs are available in both government and private sectors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Per year fee is Rs 30,000 which is not so expensive. We were also provided with scholarships in the form on concessions in fee by the admin. The four year course with Rs 1,20,000 as total fee is not a bad number.

Campus Life

The college organise many seminars and workshops. There were also national conferences at the campus. Students managed most of the things during the event which was were exciting and we worked with great enthusiasm.

Admission

One needs to have done 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum of 45 per cent marks. The admission is merit based followed by an interview of the students. The interview is not so hard they just asked me few academic questions and didn't take more than 3 minutes.

Faculty

The teachers are very great. They teach us very efficiently and effectively. We also have tutorial classes which is actually a doubt class with sometimes class for presentation by the students. The teachers very dedicated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.

Personally I chose the college on my priority! The admission process is quite simple, you need to appear in JET exams and ICAR and then you if clear the cut off , just pay the counseling fee which is almost 5000 rs !
