Course Curriculum Overview

They are some points in which this college is lacking behind .....if we take our syllabus in the notice you will see there are several things about zoology which is not present in the syllabus but in recent days college is giving its best in improvising the syllabus

Unfortunately we have very less amount of jobs provided to the students in the college...Our college is trying its best in improving this point. You can get several internships via online sites of several organisations. Several colleges invite my seniors for the placement interview in their college

College Events

If we talk about the facilities provided to the students we have a library with 15000 + books which is known as our central library. Department wise too we have a departmental library which consists of all the books related to our syllabus...other than this we have cafeteria, water cooler, playground,Computer training ,Gym, self defence training,etc in our college.....campus of my college is very beautiful with greenery all around

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure I have seen for this college is very much feasible ....they charge an amount 3480 per year for the course of Zoology.... if you belong to the SC ST category or if you are having some financial problems my college will provide you some concessions in the fees...

Campus Life

We have less amount of extra curricular activities happening in our college.... Seminars and workshop are conducted here via different colleges. We have several competitions related to music singing drama to polish our talents

Admission

Admissions were provided to the student on the basis of their percentage in class 12. As this college was best in Kannur. There were rush for the admission to this college....they release 3 to 4 merit list according to the seats vacancy. I got admission here on the basis of their second merit list

Facultyy members are highly educated with experience ranging to several years. After our class we use to have remedial classes for weak students... any student can sit in the remedial classes according to their requirements. Teachers always try to teach us with the best they have

It's an okay college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because I liked biology and also I love working in the lab . Real world applications are pretty badly prepared here like they only teach us things we need just so we can pass the exams nothing more. They should include more practical knowledge. Exams are conducted in a very short time notice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I prefer this college mainly beacuse of the number of patients over there. Well apart from being a doctor this also prepares us to face real social struggles.there are lot of oppurtunities after bds we can go through. I think the main areas for improvement in curriculum and teaching methods is that we should be aware of the problems that gonna happen as well as we should be taught with the moden dentustry. Currently the syllabus we following are old and should be prepared with modern dentistry. Exams are happening as per schedule. Its a 3 hour exam and we should finish within the particular time period.

At the final year (4thyear) students are eligible for their placement opportunities. Companies such as 6D technology, aremia and soti, Ashok Leyland etc are offering placement opportunities. More than 85percentage of students are getting job via placement. Personally my plan after degree is to write the MVD exam.
