Course Curriculum Overview
Topics under the maritime law are extremely varied and challenging which covers a huge range of subjects like salvage, collision liabilities, carriage of passengers, marine pollution liabilities, freezing injunctions, ship arrest, towage contracts, the limitation of liabilities and maritime liens.
Placement Experience
Some of the internship partners of our university are Ganesh & Co., MSC, Bh Legalease Consultants, Directorate General of Shipping: Govt Of India, Maersk Line, etc. The college provides us with ample and excellent opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total amount of fee I submitted was approximately 1.2 lacs. It consisted of an admission fee of Rs. 2000/-, general security deposit of Rs. 10000/-, tuition fee, examination fee, academic facility fee, etc.
Campus Life
Many events are held for us to socialize and enjoy good campus life. One of the events organized was GMU International Maritime Arbitration Competition to encourage students to come forward and explore the field more enthusiastically
Admission
I got my admission to the Gujarat Maritime University for LLM in Maritime Law through the marks obtained in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). I filled out an online application form. The total number of seats for my course was 60.
Faculty
We have quite relaxed and helpful professors. They make even the bland topics seem more interesting. Their teaching style is truly exceptional and they are patient while explaining difficult topics.
