Admission criteria at Gujarat Maritime University include a Minimum of 60% Marks and Candidates should be 18+. Personal Interviews and Entrance Exams are major criteria for admissions at Gujarat Maritime University.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA in Shipping and Logistics course will equip me a professional career and success into the Maritime Corporate world. All the respected faculties are holding a Phd degree and they acknowledge practical as well as smooth teaching method to boost individuals passion.

Class Size: 14Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Gujarat Maritime Board, Lakshadweep Development Corporation Limited (ldcl), and many other government maritime logistics companies play an important role for internships with a stipend between 10k to 25k. Roles offered under internships are with respect to Maritime Logistics suggestions and Operations done at ports. Overall Projects and outcomes give the legitimate solution of the process as well as task.

Placement Experience

At the end of 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Government and Private Maritime Company, weather it is logistics or shipping company equips students with an good package and offer at the time of placements. 100% placement could be expected from such a reputed university. Plans after getting the degree are to look forward for Phd degree in specialized area and to contribute responsibilities towards maritime company future goals and objectives for overall development into global maritime industries and companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is quarterly based with amount of 1,25,000 per quarter and it sums of total of 5,00,000 throught out two year course. For financial assistance university allows to take Educational Loan based on their benchmarks and criteria.

Campus Life

GNLU, E-Library includes Oxford Law Journals (50 - E-Journals) and Oxford Handbook collection on IP base access. All the classrooms are centralized air conditioning with the availability of projectors and comfortable atmoshere and sitting arrangements.

Hostel Facilities

Personal rooms for individuals with seperate bathroom and toilet, study table, locker and laundry facilities at Training Residency. Good food quality, hygiene, and fresh atmosphere at mess and kitchen. Menu includes salads, chapati, green vegetables, rice, dal, buttermilk and seasonal fruits such as mangoes. Satisfied with overall facilities and accomodation of Training Residency at GMU.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Interview Experience

Online Personal Interview questions were based on students' perspectives and passion towards Specialization Course and University. The entrance Exam includes MCQ's test patterns and has minimum criteria of 60% marks to pass.

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.
