Remarks

I was recommended by a cousin who got graduated last year from KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTION in MECHANICAL branch. He got good placement. Now I have completed my 1st year and honestly sharing my experience that there is a good college life with studies. Faculties very much cooperate. College provides good facilities Ac classrooms, labs, library and clean drinking water.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is quite good. Most of the Faculties are PhD or completing their PhD. Faculty behaviour towards students is very polite, soft and good. Exams are taken every month and it's quite easy to pass CT'S (CLASS TEST).

Internships Opportunities

For doing internships it's up to you wheater you want to do on campus or off-campus internship. The internship is given basically in summer vacation.

Placement Experience

From 6th and 7th-semester students are eligible for placement. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart likewise companies visited the colleges and gave the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike percentage I don't know quite well and enough about this. Scholarships are also given. Scholarship by U.P government is given. Financial assistance in fees also done by letting you submit your fees in two parts. On-campus placement is increasing year by year and having a good ratio of students who got placement from college.

Campus Life

Campus life is fun here no ragging at all. There is a separate hostel for all year students. Mostly all books are available in the library. KIET held it's own sports event RANN at the national level every year and also organized inter hostel and interdepartmental sports event. There are some cultural events also. There are also many groups run by students and faculty both. Last to last year KIET SAE group was awarded by NASA on winning the competition.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

I dont applied for any other college . I did the choice filling for this college only and got in 1 ROUND .This colllege provides good exposure and good placements .
