Remarks

GIET, Gunupur is known for excellent academic activities. Has the best administration control. Huge library, Gym, swimming pool, better hostel facilities with 24 hour electricity and water supply. Overall, this college is the perfect ones for those who wants the updated knowledge which is required in industrial activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has 8 disciplines. Me - The royal branch MECHANICAL. The student ratio is 3:1(boys:girls). Good faculty with labs , practicals, smart lectures .2 mid exams will be held for 50 marks. Whatever is taught in class the same will be questioned during the internals.

College makes the students to go for internship during the summer vacation and it's compulsory for the student to give the seminar on the internship which he/she attended.

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

According to money factor this college is great. Under such low fee college is great for providing course other than any college. I applied for SOA University and course fee is too high there. Also my college is a university. So there is no worry about anything. For admission in giet you have applied for OJEE odisha and contact a marketing officer or direct join in college. You have to pay 10-15 thousand rupees for advance fees. In admission day you have to pay hlaf of your fees in one year. You will get everything in that day. Rank doesn't matter here...Read More
