Course Curriculum Overview

The MBBS course in this college is similar to courses in other college. More focus is on practical knowledge and first four years are completely theoretical and last year is mainly focused on practical.

Placement Experience

This medical college is one of the best medical colleges and the placement opportunities are also nice. The internships is also provided in our college and stipend depends on the academic performance of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the MBBS course is 60000 per year which means that for the entire course the fees will be 3-4 lac. This is extremely feasible in terms of MBBS because the medical college fees are too high.

Campus Life

The fest is conducted in our college every year. It is organised by students and for me this was the best time during entire college life. Students get to enjoy and participate in all the activities.

Admission

The student interested in admission in this college should have scored more than 50% in 10+2 examination and then they have to appear for NEET and get good rank. After this during counselling the seats are allotted.

Faculty

The entire staff is great and above all they are best doctors. The dedication with which they teach is commendable. The concepts become very easy to understand and teachers focus to explain using practical information.

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement cell in RIT Kottayam. From the 6th semester onwards students got placement training and career guidance classes and there are various clubs to improve your aptitude and chances to get the job through placement. The major recruiters of the campus are Oracle, Microsoft, Allianz, MRF, IDBI Bank, Infosys IBM, TCS, VVDN, WIPRO, Suntec EXPERION etc. There is about 75 % of students get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.
