Course Curriculum Overview

As the college is affiliated to the University of Madras, its follows the guidelines provided by the university regarding the course curriculum and exam structure. These guidelines includes mid-sem exams, assignments and semester finals once in every semester.

Placement Experience

Our college provides a vast opportunity for the students regarding placements. Every year, almost 90% of the students get placed. The college conducts separate classes for the students to improve their communication skills and other skills. Some companies like Accenture, TCS, CTS, HCL, etc., visit our college for placements.

College Events

This college celebrates all the activities and functions under the guidance of the dynamic Principal. On account of international yoga day a session on importance on benefits of yoga was conducted. In order to create awareness on the importance of voting rights. Rangoli competition was held by the union along with election commission.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure in very feasible in this college. They are providing education as a much cheaper cost. The cost for 3 years in B.com is Rs.22500 only, which comes to Rs. 7500 approx per year. This fee includes all the important expenses.

Campus Life

Many cultural programmes are organised in our college.The college conducts cultural fest every year and also several competition for students and it also conducts student forum for the students to exhibit their talent.

Hostel Facilities

It is an establishment which provides quality food and comfortable lodging for College students. It is a supervised house by the authorities.The residence mess serves a fairly varied menu of absolutely fresh food with considerable attention to its nutritive value.

Admission

The eligibility criteria in this college is very simple. The candidate must have passed 10+2 in commerce with accounts, economics and maths as a main subjects. The candidates can apply from both online and offline platforms with required documents attached.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
