Course Curriculum Overview

I took up Journalism, we had millions of interactful sessions. My course curriculum was up to date according to the standards. Every subject was covered from top to bottom. We had debate sessions and all.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. There were no internships provided though. It would have been the best if they contributed that also. Companies like Capgemini, Tcs, etc., came every year. Overall it's good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah, our fee structure is neat. It was worth to take the admission here. College annual fee is so cheap. The fee you pay is inclusive of academic, hostel and mess fee. But if you get any scholarships it will be even less!

Campus Life

My campus life was the best part. Since it is a women's college we had extreme fun. Even in hostel, there were very minimum restrictions. The freedom they offer is something that every youngster dream off. Everyday there will be some or the other activities.

Admission

I studied B.A in BMS College for Women. Completed a couple of years ago. They offer various courses like B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Voc, M.Com, M.Sc Etc,. For Masters admission your Bachelors score must be qualifiable with an aggregate of at least 50%. For Bachelors admission your higher secondary examination scores matters.

Professors are really amazing in teaching. They always support us in our studies and help us discover where our interests are inclined towards. It helped a lot of us to find interesting jobs. They always found new ways to make learning more easy for us.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
