Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus and the books that were recommended and were needed to complete the semester made it very interesting for me take up the subject. For the real world, I am not very sure but knowledgeable enough to hold on our own. Rather than theory, students can do more with practical exposure for the real world experience. We had every semester exams and had 3 hours for the theory paper

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 21000/- per annual fees excluding all the extra examination fees etc. Registration fees 500/- was expected. Lab coats should be brought by own money. I am not sure about others. But sc and st were given a discount. There were no scholarship provided by the college we had search it for own.

Campus Life

5

We had several annual fest and events in the 3 year of span and had several fest organised by the different department such as manoshruta and samonavaha. We had digital classroom, and sports are a big thing on the college campus.

Admission

I had applied the same course in Jain college but the fees structure and the curriculum structure made it difficult for me opt to it. I got selected there but opted for BMS instead. We had go through a minor interview nothing extravagance. Student had to pass the 2nd PUC with atleast 60%.

Faculty

3

The faculty members were very helpful regarding the course and subject for the students, the relationship was very professional and balanced. Our HOD shilpa Were very experience and knowledge and Was a good teacher. There was not a faculty the I didn't like but shuba ma'am I didn't see alot of things eye to eye in a lot of things. There were tests, internal, practicals and semester theory per semester.

Night Life

4

We had canteen which could do with better food and hygiene facilities and library provided with the books that were helpful regarding the course and subject. The auditorium was the hangout place inside the campus. Outside we had chai mane, hari super sandwiches. Students has all sorts of transportation outside the campus and is very easy to travel.

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Master of Science [M.Sc] (Clinical Psychology)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was clear about choosing this stream as after 12th mind was fixed for preparing UPSC-CSE. So curriculum i had was exactly same which u needed!. Geography is very interesting subject and it further broadened my knowledge after i choosed the subject. We needed to write exam twice a year as many of us know it was a semester based. Question papers were of moderate difficulty and competent enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The idea of doing a triple major in one degree is what motivated me to choose this course. English, Political Science and History are interlinked in many ways that we know. Also, the course was primarily curated to help aspiring students for the Public Service Examinations, UPSC and SSC. The course really does an amazing job is getting the students ready for competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements are given in our college for a lot of departments. A senior of ours got placed into Reuters with a very high placement. In the last year, that is the 4th year, you get eligible for campus placement. After I get my degree in History, I will pursue my master's in history from Christ University only or from a foreign college belonging to the Ivy league. After that, I will pursue my PhD in history and also give the Civil Services Examination.

Placement Experience:

For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.
