Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is meticulously prepared and for students who are really interested in the field of commerce and accountancy. The course offers students the opportunity to gain vast knowledge and to practically involve in firm's business. The exam is conducted biannually by the college with a demand of a mere examination fee.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements opportunities of this college is moderate and cannot be praised well enough. But the companies which offer jobs recruits most of the students and almost 60-70% of the students get placed. Some of the companies which come for recruitment are Google, Tech Mahindra, Cape Gemini, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for this course is reasonable and is not expensive at all. I had to pay 20,000 INR per year for my department along with other miscellaneous fees accountable. I didn't opt for any scholarship programs or educational loans.

Campus Life

4

There are events such as cultural programs, annual day functions, competitions, seminars, weekly workshops, etc., which are conducted by the college in a regular basis. The events are enjoyable and will definitely make your day. They are conducted in the aim to exhibit students talents and their skills.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Since, I am a dayscholar in this college and reside nearby the college premises, I don't know much about the hostel facilities provided by the college. Also cannot simply say about the hostel rentals, infrastructure or about mess food.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association of this college is weak, yet some are invited to present a talk on their journey. The seniors are very good friends, and are the first go to persons whenever we need help or some trouble lands in. They never dominate or rag us. They are easy to approach and properly guide us in many situations.

Admission

The admission process in this college involves a entrance exam conducted by the same college, along with a screening interview round. The admission department chooses the students on the basis of merit with consideration of their performance in the interview and test.

Faculty

4

The faculties are so good in this college and are very friendly to talk with. They are highly experienced and clear our doubts with at most satisfaction. They can be easily approached for proper guidance in career also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoy writing content, The classes held on creative writing helped me understand the importance of language and trained me to write for different formats- including press releases, articles. scripts for radio shows, etc. I gained lot of practical writing knowledge while pursuing the course. Subjects like media laws and development communication were taught further during post-graduation diploma. Prior learning hepled me in retaining the concepts well. The 10 marks unit test, held twice a semester were held for 90 minutes, while semester exams (theory), held for 70 marks were completed in 3 hours. The practicals during semester exams were held for 30 marks, which included assignments or file submission and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.
