Remarks

Our college faculties are supportive and helpful during our course time. We have good hostel facilities. Good college to learn and experience more in medical field. We have good library system. Our canteen provides hygienic food.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course has four year and half and one year was mandatory to do internship. We have theory classes and practical sessions. We study about human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry in detail. In community medicine subject our research study was about protein energy malnutrition. We have theory and practical exams which was held separately. Final year studies mostly on live practical sessions.

Placement Experience

Our college is responsible for training and development of the students. They prepare students for the recruitment process. Most of them get their job in government or private sectors. Students get their internship in our college with ?4000 stipend was provided. Some do their MD courses like Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics ,Orthopedic, Surgery.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was expensive. I have to pay the fees for my course around ?18.5 lakh for one year. For other years fees are paid. This fees included tuition fees, exam fees and other fees. Our college provide scholarship for students.

Campus Life

Labs are maintained good and all the equipments are available during our practical hours. We have annual sports events conducted by our college every year. Many students from various department actively participate in sports. Extracurricular activities like marathon and other events set go etc are conducted in our college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has good room facility and we are provided with healthy mess food. We have good drinking water facility, generator backup, gym facility, playground facility. We have parking space to park our vehicle in the hostel.

Admission

College admission based on entrance exams and interview round. I scored with good marks and my name was listed on merit list in the entrance exam and I attended the interview round. I got my admission letter and got admitted in the college.

Faculty

Our faculties are highly educated and Doctorate holders in medical field. Our faculties give their opinion about practical implications of our learning. They are appointed was according to MCI guidelines. They have in depth knowledge in the particular subject in which they are teaching.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
