Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast and follows the updated syllabus. The entire MBBS course includes 9 semesters in 4.5 years duration. Along with that, you also get to do an internship for one year, that makes the total course duration up to 5.5 years.
Placement Experience
On campus recruitment is not available but once you have completed your MBBS degree, you can join the hospital and work as a full time Junior Residents here. Or, you can join some other hospital. You can also go for PG.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee that a MBBS student pay is much lesser than other medical colleges. Since it is a government college, most of your expenses are paid by the government. For a 5 and a half year MBBS course, you will have to pay approximately ?88,000 only.
Campus Life
The campus life is great. You will get ample amount of time to enjoy various activities besides studies. Seminars and workshops are regularly held to keep the students updated regarding the current medical world scenario. Along with that, various other sports and cultural events are also held. Boys and girls are almost equivalent in number and there is no discrimination (in any form).
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel rooms are good, each room is shared by 3 to 4 students. Washrooms are common for all and are kept clean. In the final year, students are allotted single rooms. And during your internship, you will be given a separate hostel, that is for the interns only. The food is good.
Admission
You can either get admission to this college via NEET or the combined entrance test of Bihar state (BCECE). You need to clear any of these two entrance exams, and have a minimum of 50% marks in your 10+2. Next, you will be called for counselling (based on merit) if you have the required rank.
Faculty
The teachers here are well educated in their respective departments. Some of them holds specialist degree. Yeah, sometimes you may find a few professors not teaching with much passion or interest. In that case, you cannot do much but focus more on self-studies of that subject. Overall, the quality of education here is good.
