The Deccan Medical College is in good hands and the management is nice too. They are lenient with the students and have given them full freedom. The faculty is diligent and constructive towards the students' future.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because of the faculty, the curriculum seems much easier than it actually is. Thanks to our professors that they divide the curriculum up to teach us in sets and modules which makes it easier to learn for us.
Placement Experience
Packages for pg candidates ranges from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs. From hospitals to clinics, the opportunities are vast and there is always a vacancy for specialists. The internship is provided to the students through the college itself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is fixed for the students. Fee structure is RS 60,000/- only per year for the MBBS course which is very cheap for a private medical college. The college has good labs and equipment and hence the fee is a steal.
Campus Life
There are extracurricular activities all through the year , there are debate, seminars and various competitions. The college has cultural annual fests, medical camps, blood donations camps, etc. set up every once in a while.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel has both AC and non- ac rooms and the rates differ accordingly. Mess food is also good with both veg and non-veg food. Rooms are tidy and the hostel is maintained. There is a lot of parking space. Hostlers are given full freedom from timings.
Admission
After the results are announced the college issues a notification for the candidates who have cleared the entrance exam. The counseling session takes place where admission will be done based on merit and the candidate has to submit all his documents.
Faculty
The college has highly qualified and motivated teaching staff. The faculty is divided into professors and assistant professors. They are very good at teaching and explain doubts in a way the students understand.
