Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is also relevant. It prepares the students to take up research in the higher level. Projects are offered which are really helpful in imparting the necessary skills. The syllabus has given a deep insight of our life through literature.
Placement Experience
Placements were good in my college. I have got placed and am currently working. Thanks to my college. The placement cell people were more approachable and updated us the dates of any campus recruitment that happened in our college. Both off-campus and in-canpus drive are satisfactory.
College Events
The infrastructure of the University of Madras's main Chennai campus is quite decent. Since it is distance education, they only have study centres where vocational classes are conducted and labs are also available for students to do practical activities and experiments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are decent enough. The program total fees are ?14,010. A lot of scholarship opportunities for higher studies are provided. It is the only distance education University in Tamil Nadu which provide a wide range of courses for distance education students.
Campus Life
Sports like Cricket, volleyball, football, hockey, running, jumping and many sports are available. It has got practical classrooms for computer course studying students for practical exams. It has other facilities for those who are doing practical knowledge courses like BCA etc.
Admission
The admission is solely based on merit and your past performances like your Higher secondary scores, and entrance scores. After which you will get admission based on that. There are no interviews or entrance taken by college during this admission process.
Faculty
Teachers in our college are well qualified with immense knowledge. Students can get more inputs in terms of subject and industry. All are well experienced in their field with high-level institutions. Their experience will help the students to grow easily.
