Course Curriculum Overview
It is a two year course divided into four semesters. Here we are taught about marketing management, accountancy, joint venture, partnerships, corporate law, indirect taxes etc so that we get deeper insights of the subject.
Placement Experience
The highest package allotted to one of my senior was 11 lpa . The average was around 6 lpa. Companies took students for the roles of finance manager, assistant manager, research associate, sales manger, finance consultant etc.Summer internships were also provided to the students who want to gain work experience in the banking industry.The starting stipend for the same was 7000 per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the tuition fees for one semester is 5,500. The registration and the exam fees is 900 & 1200 respectively. The grand total for one year comes down to 17,200 which is quite feasible for me.This fees does not include hostel & other amenities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were given to those students whose family income were less than 4 lpa. Fee concession were also granted to self defense personnel, ex-servicemen.Apart from that top students who have performed well in the examinations were granted 50% wavier in their tuition fees.
Campus Life
Blood donation camps, workshops, presentations of case studies, online courses & research related by ed to industries etc are held at our college so that the students be industry ready after the completion of the course.Cultural fests called "Spectrum" and "Festum" are conducted in our college once in a year to increase their participation of students. Other kinds of cultural activities like freshers day , sports meet, face painting, teachers day, farewell, onam celebration, bihu, holi, diwali etc are organised by our student council so as to narrow the cultural & regional differences between the students.
Admission
You can apply online for this course.If you are not from Karnataka you need to show the college a eligibility certificate that you have passed the qualifying examination.Some of the seats are reserved for the students of Karnataka.If you are selected you would be called for document verification and thus granted admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are really friendly and co-operative with the students.They would conduct presentations on different topics so as to encourage the students to come up with out of the box ideas.Guest lectures by professionals are organised on a regular basis by our department.Overall I would say that the teachers are very helpful and skilled in their teaching approach.
