Course Curriculum Overview :

The course educational plan takes into account the necessities of the college. There are goals explicitly referenced for each subjects in every semester. In this way there is straightforwardness in the motivation behind training. The college follows semester framework comprising of a half year. Degree courses have six semesters (3year course)whereas PG courses have four semesters(two year course). Every semester there will be interior assessment with two inner assessments. Additionally before the finish of the semester, there will be an outer assessment by the University.

Placement Experience :

For the students of the college, there are chances to do internships outside the grounds. Online internships are advanced. For BA Communicative English understudies, in-office temporary jobs are a piece of the educational program. Students are given vocation direction classes each year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The expense structure is possible for every single supported course. There is charge unwinding for minorities (SC, ST, OBC) For self financing courses, the charge is higher, however not very costly. Students from varying backgrounds concentrate in the college with definitely no separation.

Campus Life :

We have computer labs, libraries and auditoriums. For english literature there is a separate library in which there are books of big authors. In auditoriums, the faculty makes us watch the english dramas and we perform that also to work on our grammar and command on english.

Hostel Facilities :

The food and settlement are honorable. The nuns of St. Xavier's College run the hostel. In this manner exacting order is necessary in the inn. Prayers and week by week masses are mandatory for Catholics.

Admission :

For admission process in our college, we have to fill an online form with self attested documents all in detailed form. Eligibility criteria is 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum specified marks.

Faculty :

The workforce are extremely qualified and put by UGC standards and guidelines. In SXC, all are ladies personnel. All the Heads of the Department are Ph.D holders and the vast majority of them are Ph.D research manages also.

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
