Course Curriculum Overview

My course taught me everything about economics, financing, marketing, and accounting. In my 2 years, the college not only took the external exams but internals as well for assessment. The course was not hectic at all.

Placement Experience

A lot of good companies come every year for the recruitment process. The college has a placement cell as well as internship program for us. Usually, the selected students get a salary package of rupees 1 to 1.5 lakh per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is really nominal and quite everage as compared to other colleges. This was one of the reasons I got really attracted to the college. There is no scholarship program or loan offered by the college, and the fees is really low so the students do not even require it.

Campus Life

My college used to organise a lot of cultural events and sports days for us. We used to participate in those events with great spirit. We also celebrated on important festivals in the college. Loved the overall experience.

Admission

I registered on the official website and eligibility criteria was that I have to clear my bachelors in the relevant course.the selected the students on the basis of merit and the interview conducted afterwards.

Faculty

My teachers were fluent in English as well as the subjects that they were teaching us. The time spent with them and the lessons that I learnt it will stay with me forever. It was truly a great experience.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Presidency University offers 95% placements for the students of different departments. They offer placements for all different departments. The placements starts from 1st semester it self. Many top companies come to presidency University like the big 4 companies, Deloitte, long, ey, and pwc. Apart from these we also have many other top mnc companies visiting our college for the placements.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
