Course Curriculum Overview

The course of MBBS consists of 4.6 years graduation + 1 year compulsory internship . The labs ,practicals and classes held regularly . The internal exams are also held on a regular basis in the form of semesters.

Placement Experience

After completing the graduation of 4.6 years ,we are required to do a 1 year Internship. We are paid for our work. The assistance regarding our job profiles are given by our faculty. After completion , we can join for jobs in the same medical or the other as a junior assistant or any post at the initial level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is a bit expensive according to my personal opinion. The tuition fee is around 14 lakh per annum . Along with tuition fee , some miscellaneous fees of around 85000 has to be paid which includes various charges like exam fee , uniform , medical insurance, training fees , transportation ,lab fees and many more. for hostel and mess we have to pay a total of around 1.15 lakh.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities held on a regular basis. Various workshops and sessions takes place by experienced and trained doctors. They share their years of experience with us and how we are going to tackle our job in future . There is a separate IT infrastructure available for need .

Hostel Facilities

the hostel facilities are outstanding. It consists of separate hostels for boys and girls . The college also have medical facilities 4/7 available for the students cafeteria is inside the college campus . A separate area for our various sports activity is provided to us in a proper manner.The mess food is good.

Admission

The admission in my college is through NEET UG and NEET PG national level exam. The interested students have to apply online for NEET UG entrance exam which conducts in May fulfilling all the necessary criteria that scoring a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB or Biotech .The candidates fulfilling all the criteria are eligible to give the entrance exam and the admission process takes place through the NEET scorecard.

The faculty members are a group of experienced and well trained doctors . They provide a proper guidance to us and quality education to us . All the practicals are performed under the proper guidance of the faculty members.

We are probably eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Since i am in my first year, i did not visit any companies or get any offers. I don't know much about the packages offered by companies. The percentage of students getting placements in 27%. My plan after getting a degree is to get 3 years of work experience to become an ACCA affiliate and to work as a financial manager for a top company.

Honest review about travancore medicity kollam kerala

I got selected to this college by admission procedures by allotment list given by me during the admission time. List of colleges to be provided and college given to each student accordingly by availability and by marks and reservations. Other colleges are no different from this college than some things such as freedom of roaming around campus at night or having to use vehicles freely without permissions to park. Admission in this college is solely by the neet exam marks . So after the results after 12th student can write the neet exams and give allotment list to the site accordingly by their favourite list of colleges on an order . So from certain number of allotment rounds , student gets admitted on to a college finally and gets to study there. Fees varies according to colleges by 1-1.5 lakhs .Govt colleges are preferably better cuz of their low fee structure and quality of experience gained . Teaching better in pvt colleges I applied for many colleges in Kerala or including govt ones and got this during second allotment . First I got admitted to snims college ernakulam . Also the cutoffs for neet keeps on increasing per year as students are studying as year goes. All the details regarding mark cutoffs are available as many videos in internet .
