An amazing journey

APCE provided me with the best of education and exposure from the finest of doctorate teachers and professionals. I got the package of INR 10 lakhs per annum from my college?s placement. The faculty and the education given by them is exceptional. The college is itself very relaxing and gives a stress free environment. The libraries and computer labs are fully equipped with all the potential to bring out the best ITian in a student.

The course comprised 4 years in which we studied different subjects, semester wise. The first year was mainly the basic introduction of computers and 12th class topics. Later with the passage of years we got more complex codes and software knowledge with various language protocols.Our college computer lab has updated PCs which were full of programmes like python, turtle. decodes , etc. at least 5 subjects were given per semester, with english and communication skill classes.Internals and externals were taken semester wise and at the end of each year the final examination took place.The libraries had all cyber related books, ebooks,smart class facilities. The infrastructure of the whole college was beautifully constructed with huge playgrounds and multipurpose halls were spacious enough where we presented our presentations.

At the end of the 4th year the companies started to come and take interviews. Many students were already working on the onset of 4th year, when companies came and interviewed the cream layers of the batch. 85% placements are done for each batch every year, with good packages starting from 5 lakhs per annum to 12 lakhs per annum.Various indian and international companies come to interview and the selection is mainly on the basis of the person's caliber and academic performance.

Many cultural festivals and sports events were hosted by our college. IT meets were set where different teachers from all over india used to deliver lectures and encouraged us to become a noble like them. Model programmes were organised to showcase our made IT models.Annual fest led the students to show their multitalent and interact with other students from different backgrounds.These events led us to know each other well and built a reputation with our teachers too.

The fees are paid annually i.e. INR 40,000. Total fees for 4 years is approximately INR 1,60,000, inclusive of all facilities and technology used. The fees did not include the excursions, transport and other registration amounts. It is a feasible college, totally worth the exposure it is providing. The placement packages would let you cover the whole fees in a year or 2 of job

The atmosphere of the university was beautiful. It included a lot of gardens and playgrounds. The buildings were designed in an appealing manner with the best infrastructure.We had huge multi purpose and auditorium halls which were spacious and well maintained. The labs and libraries were full of the latest technology and books.Learning was through Ebooks and every student had a personal computer to work on.Ceremonies like freshers, farewells and festivals were hosted by the college.The music and dance rooms were separately made where we could give time to our hobbies and build talent.

Hostel buildings were beautifully constructed with the separated boys and girls hostel. It was fully guarded by the security guards and under warden surveillance making it a safe and secure place. The mess timings were strict and the food given was tasty and healthy. The gates of the hostel were used to get closed sharp at 10PM to not let students go outside at night. The washrooms and other utilities like room bed, fan,cooler, etc were well designed and cleaned. Overall the environment of the hostel was friendly and polite.

The yearly alumni meet used to take place at the end of each year where our ex seniors came and addressed us about their work and experience in different IT sectors. They guided us to grow in our respective area of computer interest. Many of them pursued to study further which gave us the glimpse from both the respective areas. All the seniors were very polite, they were always ready to help the juniors.

I did B.Tech in IT from APCE. You need to give an entrance exam to enroll in the college that is TNEA, depending upon the rank and the marks secured you would be eligible to take admission in the college. The requirement to pass 12thy standard with 50% above is required too.After I got a good rank in my entrance I applied online for the 4 years course with the payment of registration form. Later counselling sessions were conducted and the final registration formalities were done.

The faculty at APCE was diverse and all were qualified nobles with reputed backgrounds. They were all very helpful and polite and always guided us in the right direction.All were fluent in english which led to no communication gap. Many of our teachers were PHD holders and would show their work in research.Guest faculties also used to come which were all honourable people. We had the privilege to interact and learn with them.
