Our college provides good education at low cost and even offers the scholarships to meritorious students. It increases our morale to work harder. Being an all girls school, it provides very safe and friendly environment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is according to affiliated University and it is good. The college also introduced few courses of its own and we also have guest lectures and study tours and association with researchers. So, we get to learn a lot. the examination is semester based i.e. it is held twice a year.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. Many companies come to our college and offer good internship and job opportunities. They select the students based on their merit and interviews. They also provide good stipend with the internship.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. The fee structure for mu course is 5200Rs for each year. My course is 3 year long and the fee for the whole course is 15,000Rs. The college also provides scholarship and that decreases the fee further.
Fees and Financial Aid
the students can apply for govt scholarships. the college also provides the scholarships of its own. The students who are good at studies get the scholarship from the college. My friend was one of them and she got the scholarship and her fee got reduced to great number.
Campus Life
We have many extra curricular activities. Our college has high speed internet ICT labs, seminar rooms, auditorium where we take part in many debates and quiz competitions. We have sports festivals as well.
Admission
The admission is based on the merit and the norms set by the Calcutta University. The admission process if online. Pursuing B.Com (Hons.) was a dream and the college is one of the best in the locality and the fee is also feasible so I submitted my documents and got selected. The eligibility for B.Com(Hons.) is 10+2 must be qualified. The selection is based on the cut off on merit.
Faculty
Our college has a great faculty. Out of 68 faculty members, 29 are PhD holders. they are very dedicated to their profession and are always ready to guide us in every step. They are in the class on time and help to develop within us critical thinking, moral and social skills in addition to the academic ones.
