There are 3 to 4 consecutive exams before the sem exam, which is a good thing, as it frustrates the students, Yes the exam structure and teaching style is good. It helps us to get a better understanding of the subject and achieve more marks at a time.

Various companies visit our college: CTS, Anant Infosolution, Infosys, Scientific Publishing Services, TCS, Primrose School, Datatrax, Weapons Connect - Star Health Insurance, Seventh Sense Technologies Private Limited, Royal Bank of Scotland, Surya Informatics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very reliable because the cost of the annual fee is very low and payable compared to other colleges in Chennai. We pay about Rs 20,000 per semester and the annual fee is Rs 40,000

Campus Life

The basic programs available for students to attend our college are seminar and workshop, college day celebrations and entrepreneurs day celebrations. Blood donation camps have also recently taken place. The Fine Arts Festival and Vivekananda Day were held. Sports activities are also available at our college for women's participation.

Admission

You should get a good rank in entrance. After that, my name came in through the merit list. You have to pay for everything first. Documents for college are practical papers. Getting into college is easy if you have scored good marks.

The faculty here are well qualified and experienced. They teach us well and share all the experiences they have thrown at them. They share the essence of their knowledge with us, which makes my classes more interactive and fun.

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment

I came to this college because of the best placement offers they provide.From the 2nd year which is 3rd semester our institution training is for placements. Reputed companies like mediccin, Harmony,apollo etc are collaborating in our college. Highest salary package is 21lakhs per annum. Average salary package is 15 lakhs per annum. More percentage of students are getting placed. My plan is to get placement offers from my college..then after that I am wishing to be placed with higher salary package.

So for the MCA course i have applied for TANCENT counselling in that counselling i have applied for 15 college in my priority order. I got 88% in counselling but i got this college. This college was my 15 th college in my list. Even though i asked other college but the next day also the same college has been alloted for me. So by no chance i approved. And went for the admission process. Meenakshi College- My review

The College faculty is expert in forcing the students to participate in certain certificate courses without taking care of the students's interest in that particular course by mentioning the course as compulsory even if it is not. The college seized the mobile phone of many students in first year thinking that the students are misusing, which i carried for a valid reason with class teacher's permission and they did not return my mobile phone till now in spite of apologizing many times through letters and also my parents went to the college for explaining the reason for carrying the mobile to the college and now it's been three years that the college seized the mobile phones of the students and did not return it till now....Read More
